PEA RIDGE — Johnny Dale Hurst, age 63, of Pea Ridge died Oct. 24, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born in Mountain Home on May 28, 1949, to Junior and Inez "Jo" (Marchant) Hurst.

Johnny served in the Air Force during Vietnam and was stationed in Thailand. He retired from Glad Manufacturing after 35 years, and in his retirement he enjoyed flying as a private pilot, hunting, fishing, golf and visiting Jamaica with his wife, Judy.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hurst of the home; mother, Jo Hurst of Pea Ridge; brother, Larry Hurst and wife, Helen, of Pea Ridge; nephews, Scott Hurst and wife, Dana, Philip "PJ" Hurst and a great-niece, Marlow.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, with services beginning at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762, to benefit the new hospice center at Legacy Village in Bentonville.

Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
