Glenwood Herald, Thursday, March 18, 1982
Tom B. Bridgers, aged 70, of Duncanville, Texas, died in a Dallas hospital, Friday, March 12, 1982.
He was a former resident of Glenwood but had resided in Duncanville for 25 years.
He was a retired tool checker for Wyatts, Inc.
Survivors are: his wife, Leona Tackett Bridgers of Duncanville, Tex.; two sons, Larry Bridgers and Tommy Bridgers, both of Duncanville, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. LaNell Jones of Duncanville, Tex., Mrs. Marcella Rutherford and Mrs. Patricia Welch, both of Dallas, Tex. and Mrs. LaQuetta Klinge of Irving, Tex. two brothers, J.J. Bridgers of Calif. and Robert Bridgers of Paris, Tex.; three sisters, Rozella Melton, Sue Millem and Gladys Melton, all of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held in Glenwood Cemetery, Monday, March 15 at 2 o'clock with Rev. Kenny Tidwell officiating.
Arrangements were by Davis Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jerry Price, Loyd Love, Hershel Caldwell, Carl Driggers, Bryan Conaway and Gary Tackett.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Driggers, Roy Charles Tigue and Rev. Kenny Tidwell.
