Gabriel Patrick Young age 3 months of Melbourne died Thursday September 18, 2008 at his home in Melbourne. He was born on June 17, 2008 to Thomas James Young Sr. and Courtney Marie Durham in Sparta, Illinois.
Survivors include his parents; one brother Thomas James Young Jr. of Melbourne; paternal grandparents Michael Sr. and Flora Young of Tilden, IL and Christine and James Wells of Red Bud, IL; maternal grandparents Kimberly and Christopher Coles of Tilden, IL and Charles and Rheanna Williams of Tilden, IL; paternal uncles Michael Young Jr. of Prairie Du Rocher, IL and Aaron Wells of Red Bud, IL; maternal aunts Johna Williams and Kimberly Williams.
Graveside services will be Monday September 22, 2008 at the Melbourne Cemetery at 10 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Roller Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne from 6-8 P.M.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Young, Michael Young Jr., B.J. Cantrell and Jay Dobyns.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Dobyns and Michael Young Sr.
Little Angels
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, we mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love. For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold, so He picks a rosebud before it can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, the saddest word mankind knows will be "Goodbye." So when a little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children, angels are hard to find.
