WAYLAND, Grace Maud CAPPLE - Grace Maud Capple, born near Walnut Hill, Ill. February 19th, 1884, aged 51 years, 2 months and 13 days. She met and married J.E. Wayland May 21, 1902. To this union were born nine children, all of whom are living. Mrs. Wayland was converted at the early age of 14 and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. She was a wonderful woman - she loved her home, her husband, her children. She was devoutly religious, finding her faith in God sufficient in every trial. She was not afraid to go while she would like to have tarried here for a while in order to help keep back the evils of this present life from the little nest. Committing all these interests to His eternal care she heard the call and went home.
Note: Per her husbands obituary she is buried in Gentry Cemetery.
