Jack Bragg, 82, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 in Helena, Arkansas. Jack was born July 7, 1928 in West Helena to the late Jack A.W. and Irene Nash Bragg. He worked for Belz, Inc. in management and retired from there after 25 years. He was a Mason, Shriner, and Eagle Scout of Phillips County where he remained active in the Boy Scouts. He was an avid collector of coins and miniature trains.
He is survived by his wife Joanne Washburn Bragg of West Helena; one son, Karl Glen May (Michelle) of Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters, Karen Lee May McFarland (Rick) of Collierville, Tennessee and Kathy Jo Alderson (Bill) of Rogers; eight grandchildren; and a nephew, Mark Swaty.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Bragg Swaty.
Graveside services for Jack Bragg will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park. Reverend Richard Rogers will officiate. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
