Robert “Bob” John Fansler of Wyandotte, OK passed from this life Monday, September 9, 2019 at his home. He was 66.
Bob was born August 21, 1953 in Noel, MO to Robert C. and Sue (Maynard) Fansler. He had lived in the Miami and Wyandotte area all his life. Bob graduated from Miami High School Class of 1971. He was a fireman with the Miami Fire Department for 26 years. He then worked for Yates and Associates in Tulsa, OK as an Arson Investigator and later owned and operated Fansler Fire Investigations in Wyandotte, OK. He was a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the International Association of Fire Fighters.
Bob was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his son Ty Fansler and wife Natalie of Biloxi, MS, his daughter Emily Fansler and wife Victoria of Seattle, WA, his mother Sue Fansler of Miami, OK, his sister Susan Fansler - Carrigan of Quapaw, OK, 5 grandchildren Carsyn Fansler, Melanie Fansler, Julia Fansler, Rio Fansler and Linder Fansler, his nephew Kacey Robert Carrigan and Bob's longtime girlfriend Caitlin Hollis and special cousin Sara Fields.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday September 13, 2019 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Geoff Buffalo will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
