Betty J. Inabinet, 81, of West Helena passed away Friday, September 5, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Inabinet was born August 31, 1927 in Helena to the late John Myers and the late Ethel Mae Gentry Myers.Mrs. Inabinet was a retired telephone operator from Southwestern Bell. She was also a retired librarian from DeSoto School. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Helena, and she volunteered often for the food bank.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Inabinet, Sr.She is survived by her son, Robert M. Inabinet, Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Walls, Mississippi; a sister, Ethel Mae Hicks of Pittsburg, Texas; and grandchildren, Robert III, Garrett and Victoria.Graveside services for Betty Inabinet will be held at 3:30 p.m. , Monday, September 8, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Reverend Carolyn Doering will officiate.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DeSoto School Library, 497 Thunderbird Drive, West Helena, Arkansas 72390. Services directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
