Lula Belle Knuckles, 74, of West Helena passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 in Helena. Ms. Knuckles was born September 13, 1933 in Bay, Arkansas to the late Jackson Mullins and the late Beulah Pigrim Mullins.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Joyce Smith of Helena; sons, Terry Dean Knuckles and Janice of West Helena, Gary David Knuckles and Tammy of Warren, and Tommy Loyd Knuckles of West Helena; sisters, Celesta Nash and Faye Rorex, both of Jonesboro, Linda Mullins and Billy of Trumann, and Lisa Foster and Bobby of Marmaduke; brothers, Jerry Wayne Mullins and JoAnn of Bono and Kenny Mullins and Brenda of Bono; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Roger Dale Mullins; a granddaughter, Melanie Dawn Knuckles.
Services for Lula Knuckles will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Audie Richardson will officiate.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Knuckles, Jason Odle, Tommy Knuckles and Jeremy Camp.
