Ms. Vivian J. Godwin, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at North Little Rock. Ms. Godwin was 90 years old. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Anna Spurgeon. Ms. Godwin was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church.
Ms. Godwin is survived by 2 sons and daugters-in-law: Jimmy and Julia Taylor and Terry and Nena Taylor, all of Lonoke, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Billy Harold and Betty Sorrells of Russellville, Arkansas and W.L. and Lee Sorrells of Atkins, Arkansas; other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband: Jessie A. Taylor; her 2nd husband:Harbert Godwin; and 1 daughter: Jessie Taylor Weems.
Graveside servie for Ms. Godwin was held on Saturday afternoon at Sunset Memorial Garden in West Helena, Arkansas.
Dr. J.E. Hughes officiated the service.
