Clara Mae (Chambliss) Bise, 83, of Bradford, departed this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 surrounded by family. Clara was born August 6, 1935 in Newport, Arkansas. She was married to the late Floyd Chambliss for 44 years. Mrs. Clara leaves behind two daughters; Joyce Taylor and husband Lindell of Bradford and Rita Jo Mayhue of Wilburn, three granddaughters; Shelly Davis and husband Curtis of Pleasanton, TX, Trudy Weatherley and husband Billy of Judsonia, and Tammy Robertson and husband Joey of Bradford, four great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, one sister, Nadine Dill and husband Cecil of Tennessee, two nephews, one great nephew, and four great nieces.
Clara is preceded in death by her father, Odie Flowers, her mother Bessie (Polk) Flowers, brothers: Columbus Flowers, James Flowers, Jimmy Flowers, Danny Flowers and Burnie Flowers.
Clara was a homemaker, factory worker and a café owner. She was an active member of Oakland Free Will Baptist Church and also sang gospel music with family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, raising animals, planting flowers, blue grass music and reading. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6-8pm.
Funeral will be at Oakland Free Will Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Robert McClure officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Bradford Memorial Funeral Home of Bradford, Arkansas.
