Carlos Demond DAVIS

Carlos Demond Davis was born July 12, 1975 in Helena, Arkansas to Ola Jackson (Davis) Woods and Arthur James Davis Jr. He was the first of four children born to this union. Carlos departed this life on March 26, 2010 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carlos received Christ at an early age and was baptized. He was a member of the New Bibleway COGIC in North Little Rock, Arkansas under Pastor Rochester Rogers. Carlos loved people and he took his friendships very seriously. Carlos attended school at Jackson Elementary, Tulsa Middle School, CV White High, Phillips County Community College, Southern Arkansas University, and Pulaski Tech. Carlos served as a Certified Nurses Assistance for 11 years. Carlos seemed to know every single thing it was to know about operating computers and was called upon regularly by family and friends to fix and operate their computer programs. He held jobs in other capacities, but his most rewarding and fulfilling job was driving his YELLOW CAB. Woods, Omaha, NE; Katrina Davis Washington, Chicago, IL; Shermeisha Calvin, Jacksonville, AR; 13 uncles, Willie Jackson, Danny (Gayle)Jackson, Quinton Jackson, Anthony (Sadie) Jackson, Anthony Davis, Dan Toney Davis, Victor Davis, Cleveland Williams Jr., Willie Williams, Melvin Allison, Floyd Dunlap, Walter Davis, Tommie Davis Jr., and Rev John Glass, various cities; 17 aunts, Bernice Taylor, Thelma (Edward) Evans, Velma (Hillary) Gray, Joyce (Anthony) Lofton, Evelyn Thomas, Meshall (Devin) Winnegan, Viola (Daniel) Seals, Ulysses (Mike) Freemon, Pearl (Alfred) Burns, LueVella Reed, Lessie Webster, Linda Pruitt, Linett Williams, Luevenia (Odell) Davis, Eloise Williams, Benita Williams, and Theresa Jackson, various cities; He was the Grandson of the late Willie and Viola Jackson, Arthur Davis, Sr., He was the great grandson of the Late Brack and Ruthie Lee Jackson; Rev. and Pearlie Howard, and the great-great grandson of the late, Perry and Elizabeth Jackson and Rufus and Ivory (Loving) Glass; the great-great-great grandson of the Late Dan and Elizabeth Loving and Ned and Elizabeth Glass. He is the great grandson of Tommie and Amanda Davis Sr. and the Great Great grandson of Alonzo Davis. He also leaves to cherish his memory his God mother who named him at birth, Gwendolyn Bush.
