Funeral services for Frank Chambers, 80, a retired farmer from West Ridge who died in a car-motorcycle Saturday evening May 14, 1977 on highway 140 near West Ridge, will be held this afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Murphy's Funeral Home chapel. Rev. J.C. Nanney will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Maudie Bell Chambers of West Ridge, AR, two daughters: Mrs Polly Stroud of West Ridge and Mrs Elizabeth Atkins of Hartford, MI, four sons: Amos Frank Chambers of Payneway, AR, Charlie Chambers of Hartford, AR, and James Chambers of West Ridge, AR, 25 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Garden Point Cemetery with Murphy's Funeral Home of Marked Tree. LNR

Mrs Maudie Bell Chambers, 81, of Lepanto, died Wednesday January 28, 1982 at Osceola Memorial
Hospital. She was the widow of Frank Chambers and a longtime resident of Lepanto, AR. She was a housewife and a Baptist.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs Polly Stroud of Osceola, AR, and Mrs Elizabeth Atkins of Hartford MI, four sons: Amos Chambers of Payneway, AR, Charlie Chambers of Bradenton, Fl, Joe Chambers of Hartford, MI, and James Chambers of Osceola, AR, two sisters: 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and one gg-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Lepanto with Rev. Charles Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden Point Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. JS
