SPRINGDALE — Robert Loren Hatcher, 91, of Springdale, passed away February 3, 2018 at Shiloh Health and Rehab. He was born May 7, 1926 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Willie and Ellen Storms Hatcher.

Robert was a carpenter by trade. He is a veteran of WWII serving in the Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar. He was a member of the Arkansas Fiddler Association. He loved his garden and sold vegetables at the local farmers market in Rogers. He was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Springdale.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Lester Hatcher and sister Pauline Heckathorn.

Survivors include his wife Virginia of the home; his son Eugene Hatcher and wife Marlene of Lowell; daughter, Linda Madewell and husband Don of Springdale; brother, Junior Watson of Harrison; four grandchildren Jeff and Mike Madewell, Melanie Taylor and Cindy Jones; seven great-grandchildren Megan, Zachary, Joshua and Luke Taylor, Isabella Hatcher, Courtney and Ashley Madewell.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 6 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will take place at Sisco Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 7 starting at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robbie Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to The First Church of the Nazarene, 2300 S. 40th St. Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
