GRAVETTE — Curtis Steve Curry, 67, of Gravette, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at home. He was born in Caney, Kan., to the late Charles and Jeanette (Loriaux) Curry.

Steve graduated from Ecclesia College with a Bachelor of Christian Leadership. He was an ordained minister of the Gospel, former pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member of Beacon Baptist Church in Gravette.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1984. Steve also served as Gravette's Quorum Court representative from 2011 to 2015 as a Justice of the Peace for Benton County.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marian of Gravette; his daughter, Teresa (Cordell) Miller of San Clemente, Calif.; step-daughter, Karrie (James) Gee of Franklin, Tenn.; stepson Charlie (Sonya) Colvin of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; a brother, David (Linda) Curry of Berryville, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at Beacon Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Beacon Baptist Church, 805 1st Avenue, S.W., Gravette, Ark.

Pastor Ron Theis will officiate. Burial will be at Georgia Flats Cemetery west of Gravette on Highway 72. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Baptist Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
