Cora Jane Gibson was born Nov. 10, 1887, near Gravette, AR; died Dec. 25, 1918, age 31 years, 1 month and 15 days. Was converted and joined the Missionary Baptist church at Mt. Enterprise at age of 15. Married to Oscar Harrington at the age of 17; 5 children born to the union, 3 girls and 2 boys, left to mourn the loss and protecting care of a Christian mother. She also leaves father and mother, Geo. E. and Martha Gibson, and 4 brothers and 3 sisters; Willie Gibson, Southwest City, MO; Sadie Russell and Dora Harrington of Gravette; and "Si," Ada and Virgil Gibson, of near Gravette. At time of her death she was living 7 miles S.W. of Maysville, in Oklahoma; died of influenza-pneumonia. The little children are left to the care of a father and a merciful of God.
