Danny Lee Johnson
August 14, 1954 - November 19, 2018
Danny Lee Johnson, son of the late Odie Kenneth Johnson and Carol V. Eickhoff Johnson, was born August 14, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life November 19, 2018 at his home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 5 days.
He spent his life as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. During his working years, he was employed at Stanley Wood Chevrolet in Batesville, retiring after 40 years of employment. Danny loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
Danny is survived by two siblings: William Johnson and wife Laura Ann of Carrollton, Texas and Barbara Kubiak and husband Steven V of Gerald, Missouri; two nephews and two nieces: Steven J. Kubiak, Leslie Kubiak Bina, Kenneth Johnson, Jessica Kubiak McKinney; ten great nieces and nephews: Jason Kubiak, Hailey Nieder, Brande Kubiak, Joshua Bina, Jacob Bina, Kailyn McKinney, Allison McKinney, Josie Bina, Kian McKinney and Madelyn Mae McKinney and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation and funeral service will be Saturday, November 24 at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will begin at 12 noon. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Reeves Cemetery.
