Obituary for Thomas 'Dow' Callahan
Mr. Thomas 'Dow' Callahan, age 95, of Little Rock, formerly of Tuni, died Tuesday at the Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock. He had been in poor health for the past two weeks.

Mr. Callahan was born March 15, 1921, in Madison, and was the son of James Franklin Callahan and Myrtle Mikles Callahan Brown. He lived in St. Francis County most all of his life, was a Veteran of World War II, and a farmer.

Mr. Callahan married Gearldine Collie in 1939, and she preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by two sons; Bill Callahan of Forrest City and Gary Callahan, and wife, Sharon, of Dover, Arkansas, three daughters-in-law, Betty Callahan, Marcella Callahan, and Rita Callahan, one son-in-law, Danny Miller, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He had four children; Tommy Callahan, Jimmy Callahan, Wayne Callahan, and Carolyn Miller, who all preceded him in death.

Services for Mr. Callahan will be held, Graveside, 2:30 P.M., Saturday, at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, beginning 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
