Mrs Julie Christine Roper Johnson, 82, of Dyess, died Tuesday, Nov 5, 1996 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Osceola. Born Mar 7, 1914 in Alabama, she was a member of the Dyess Assembly of God and was the widow of Coley Johnson.
Survivors include three daughters: Luthene Brantley of Bradley, AR, Naomi Dent of Hardy, AR, and Helen Wright of Coldwater, MS, a son, Sonny Johnson of Bradley, AR; a brother, W.T. Roper of Dyess, AR, two sisters: Carrie Bell Littles of Thorton, CA, and Irene Woods of Jonesboro, AR, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 gg-grandchildren.
