Bob Welsch, age 66, of Amity, died Thursday, December 1, 2005. Mr. Welsch was born March 10, 1939 in Milford, Nebraska, the son of Harry Welsch and Irma Belka Welsch. On February 16, 1962 he married Karen Spetman.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He was retired from Elder Care Insurance Services and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Amity.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Spetman Welsch of Amity; two daughters, Robyn Blankenship and fiancee’ Dale Kizer of Benton, and Kim Lynch and husband, David Lynch of Higley, Arizona; a son, Kiplan Welsch and wife, Shannon Welsch of Bryant; seven grandchildren, Rylan, Blake, Jordan, Dylan, Tyler, Shayln, and Payton; two step-grandchildren, Jessica and Jarod; two sisters, Betty Kemper of Crete, Nebraska and Margie Manglitz of Lincoln, Nebraska; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 5, 2005 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Rev. Paul Coy officiating.
Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Pallbearers will be Larry Partridge, Dale Kizer, Tom Aubry, Rylan Blankenship, Blake Lynch, and Justin Weise.
