Dale M. Bowlin, 53, of Springdale died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center of North Little Rock. He was born July 30, 1949, in Fayetteville to William J. and Nina Whittle Bowlin.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Wan and received a Purple Heart. He was a former employee of Tyson Foods and the V.A. Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Valerie Rierson of Garland, Texas; his son, Bradley Bowlin of Ocala, Fla.; his mother of Springdale; three brothers, Jerry Bowlin of Winslow, William Bowlin of Fayetteville and Dennis Bowlin of Springdale; and one sister, Marcella Main of Springdale.
Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale with Elvon Wolf officiating, and Euel Bilderback and Johnny Baker assisting. Burial will be at Bluff Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
