SPRINGDALE — Dennis Allen Byrd, 68, of Springdale died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013. He was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Homer Byrd and Pearl Nance Byrd.
He retired as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Mike Byrd.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Frances Byrd of the home: son, Chris Byrd and his wife, Lynn, of Springdale; granddaughter, Megan Byrd; mother, Pearl Byrd of Springdale; two sisters, LaDonna Monsees and her husband, John, of San Diego, Calif., Diana Basham and her husband, Rick, of Springdale.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Bluff Cemetery, under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.

SPRINGDALE — Frances Ilene Byrd, age 72, of Springdale, died Monday, July 1, 2019. Frances was born Feb. 3, 1947, in California to Oliver and Nellie Barens.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Byrd, her parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Frances is survived by son Chris Byrd and his wife Lynn and their daughter Megan Byrd; sisters Delva Montag, Artie Bell Burton and Wilma Robinson.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 4, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Westfield Chapel. Graveside will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Online condolences www.WestfieldChapel.com.
