Arkansas State Trooper
*Obituary
Arvard Harold Brown, 59, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, October 14th in his home.
He was a retired State Trooper having served in law enforcement for 40 years. He was a retiree of Troop K in Hot Springs and of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Marvin Brown and a daughter, Minda Leann Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Avo B. Brown of Mulberry, AR; one sister, Bonita Jane Dear of Mulberry, AR; two brothers, Clyde Ranzey Brown of Montrose, CO and Mickey Wayne Brown of Glenwood, AR and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Clyde "Randy", Mickey, Erik and Sam Brown, Duane Dear and Jim Tomlin.
Honorary pallbearers were the Arkansas State Police Troop K and John Marino.
Funeral services were held at Glenwood First Baptist Church with Chaplain of Troop K officiating.
