When James Nicholas Nuckolls was born on October 24, 1867, in Black River, Arkansas, his father, James, was 44 and his mother, Martha, was 34. He married Lillian M Stone on December 25, 1888. They had one child during their marriage. He died on April 29, 1947, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 79.
