SPRINGDALE — Gaynelle (Williams) Dellinger was born on Jan. 23, 1943, in Pryor, Okla., to Deamer Max and Verna (Bynum) Williams, and passed away on Sept. 16, 2018, in Springdale. She now rests in hope, as we all do who trust in the promise given by the Lord for an eternity with Him.
Gay was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale. She was a homemaker and worked in sales for most of her adult life. Gay enjoyed volunteering at the old Springdale Memorial Hospital and was a former State Board Director of the American Cancer Society.
She was a loving mother to her four children, Jon, Eric and Lynnelle Dellinger and Pam (Dellinger) Price, proud grandmother to Derek and Josh Dellinger (Jon), Ashlyn Dellinger (Eric), and Jeremy and Sean Price (Pam). She also was blessed with five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home and a graveside ceremony will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Bluff Cemetery, both in Springdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark. 72762.
