SPRINGDALE — Tom Devereaux, 69, of Springdale died Dec. 26, 2000, in Springdale. He was born March 8,
1931, in Flint, Mich., to Carl and Ella Kessler Bradley. He was a truck driver for Pioneer Mobile Homes and attended First Assembly of God in Springdale. He was a member of the Lions Club for 22 years, both in California and in Springdale.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby McClure Devereaux of the home, to whom he was married 36 years; one son, George Dollar of Bakersfield, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Mobbs of Springdale; one sister, Val Wallace of Flint; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Bill Danner officiating.

Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may he made to LWSB or Mid-South Lions.

Pallbearers will be Joe Lindley, Billy Sixkiller, Jerry Ferguson, Charles Lindley, Sam Pelletier and Tommy Walker.

Honorary pallbearers will he members of the Springdale-Centennial Lions Club.

SPRINGDALE — Ruby Bernice Devereaux, 89, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville, Ark. She was born June 25, 1927, to Earl J. and Edna C. McClure in Yuma, Ariz.

Her parents moved to California in 1928 where she lived until she and Tom Devereaux moved to Springdale, Ark., in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, a son, a grandson, a brother and a niece.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Mary and husband Harvey Mobbs; a son, George Dollar and wife Gwen; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. July 30, 2016, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.

Graveside service will begin at noon that same day at the Bluff Cemetery.
