KENNESAW, Ga. - Diana Harriet Fischer, age 81, passed away Nov. 3, 2019, at home in Kennesaw, Ga. She was born Dec. 1, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., to Leopold and Bernice Cichon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Fischer.
She is survived by children Robert (Risa) Fischer of Marietta, Ga., Cheryl Dillon of Kennesaw, Ga., Jeff (Rose) Fischer of Milton, Fla., Mark (Cynthia) Fischer of Hollywood, Fla., Michelle (Lance) Schoeppey of Rhome, Texas, and James (Karen) Fischer of Springdale, Ark.; siblings Bob (Bernie) Cichon, Terri Bruner, Frank (Sandy) Cichon, Deb (Jim) Carlson and Donald (Jan) Cichon. Diana was also blessed with a large extended family including 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
After 28 years as a homemaker, Diana graduated from the University of Arkansas as an registered nurse. She worked as a registered nurse for eight years then for Walmart in Springdale to retirement.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at 5 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel, Springdale, Ark., with rosary following at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, Ark.
Memorials maybe made to St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1386 S. West End St., Springdale, Ark., 72762.
