Oliver S. Hopping, age 84, passed away at his home October 08, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born July 26, 1932 in Rogers, Arkansas, the son of Andy and Minnie Frazier Hopping. He served with the Air Force Military Police in security during the Korean War. He and his wife Adele married in Fayetteville September 28, 1953. They lived in New Mexico and Wichita, Kansas before moving to Rogers. He was a perpetual member of the Masonic Lodge #460 and American Legion #100. He liked to hunt, fish and camp. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lloyd, sister, Velma Payne and two sons, David and Robert Hopping.
He is survived by his wife Adele of the home. Three sons: Leslie Hopping and Lynn, Dale Hopping, Michael Hopping and Linda. Four daughters: Camille Best, Wanda Good, Marie Guffey and Teresa Dominguez and Eddie. 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale with Reverend Steven Johnson Officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
