When Ethel Mae Clabourn was born on December 1, 1905, in Arkansas, her father, Leonard, was 38, and her mother, Mary, was 28. She married William Joseph 'Joe' Dabbs on December 9, 1920, in Arkansas, Arkansas. They had three children during their marriage. She died on January 1, 1997, in Humphrey, Arkansas, at the age of 91, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
