SPRINGDALE — Shirley Mae Main, 85, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Westwood Health and Rehab in Springdale.
She was born on April 13, 1925, in Stockton, Ill., daughter of Ben and Mercedes Deyo. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church at Westwood Health and Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Delmar Franklin Main; her grandparents, Ransom and Mary (Price) Posey; a sister, Margie Pohl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Youngman of Springdale, Ark.; two nephews in Freeport, Ill.; numerous cousins in Stockton. Ill.; and several nieces and nephews in Arkansas.
Services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, with Pastor Bobby Main officiating the service; committal service to follow at Bluff Cemetery.
