Brenda Jones Farnsworth, 66 of Hope, AR born October 4, 1952 in Hope, AR passed away August 14, 2019 after a long battle of cancer.
She was under the care of Hospice of Texarkana. She attended Hope Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and helping others. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her flowers. She never met a stranger. She couldn't pass up a chance at searching for hidden gems at garage sales.
She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband of 32 years Johnny Jones Jr. whom she loved with all heart and selflessly cared for.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Thomas Farnsworth of Hope, AR, one son, Johnny Jones III & wife Angie of Newport, AR, one daughter, Rebecca Hibbs of Texarkana, TX. Four grandchildren Jessica & Michael of Hope, AR. Ian & Noah of Texarkana, TX. One great-grand daughter of Hope, AR. One sister, Rachel Virginia Rushing & husband Harold of Hope, AR. One brother, Archie Smith & wife Rae of Hope, AR. One sister-in-law, Joanie McClendon & husband Mike of Hope, AR.
Visitation will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, August 16, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, August 17, 2019 with interment to follow in Shover Springs Cemetery. Pastor Kenny Martin will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope, Arkansas.
