When R J Brown Ford was born in August 1876 in Arkansas, his father, Philip, was 33 and his mother, Mattie, was 22. He married Lena Harris and they had one son together. He also had one son and one daughter with Sally Lnu. He died on March 9, 1948, in Humphrey, Arkansas, at the age of 71.
