When James Sibley Duckett was born on February 24, 1919, in Arkansas, his father, James, was 37 and his mother, Maude, was 33. He married on March 8, 1939, in his hometown. He had one child during his marriage. He died as a young father on May 3, 1948, in Arkansas at the age of 29.
