When Lester William (Wil) Ahrens was born on June 27, 1902, in Harrison, Iowa, his father, Frederick, was 30 and his mother, Lucy, was 22. He married Minnie A. Robinson on December 31, 1927, in Prairie, Arkansas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on May 8, 1950, in Arkansas, Arkansas, at the age of 47, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
