When Henry Frederick Kirchoff was born on May 19, 1884, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, his father, John, was 39 and his mother, Catherine, was 28. He married Ester May Harris on August 25, 1918, in Prairie, Arkansas. They had seven children in 14 years. He died on November 26, 1964, in his hometown at the age of 80, and was buried there.
