Married Robert Samuel Blake on May 30, 1931.
Their children included Thelma, Alvin, Bobby and Paul. Robert had four children (Floyd, Virgie, Nora and Lillie) by previous marriage, and Della had four children (Ruby, Hazel, Marie and Freamon) by previous marriage.
