Ruth Lee Pruitt Williams
January 29, 1912 - June 25, 2006
Ruth Williams, 94, of Paragould died Sunday, June 25, 2006, in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born Jan. 29, 1912, at Monette, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Williams was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arvil Pruitt; her second husband, Ewell Williams; and two sons, T. J. Pruitt and Vernon Pruitt.
Survivors include eight grandchildren, Rickie Pruitt of Marmaduke, Ruth Kimbrough, Randy Pruitt, Regina Lemmons, Rhenda Carter and Teresa Wisby, all of Paragould, Tewane Pruitt and Bennie Pruitt, both of Oklahoma. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel at Paragould with Rhenda Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in Corning Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mitchell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rickie Pruitt, Randy Pruitt, Chris Hicks, Mark Carter, Macon Lemmons and Blake Nunn.
