Ira “Glen” Stroud, 82, of Floyd, Arkansas entered Heaven’s gates on July 1, 2019. He was born in Floyd, Arkansas on February 27, 1937.

Glen was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He retired from ABF as a diesel mechanic after thirty-two years of service. He served in the Arkansas National Guard for six years.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Grace Stroud; brothers Delton Stroud and Dearl Stroud.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Patsy Stroud; two children, Brian (Karen) Stroud, and Judy (Todd) Rodgers; five grandchildren, Ross, Sam, Blake, Travis, and Tate; three great-grandchildren; Tanner, Lily and Cameron; as well as a host of family and friends.

Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Floyd United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com

Patsy Stroud, 78, of Floyd entered the gates of Heaven June 23, 2020. She was born to Edgar and Geraldine Willis in Benton, Arkansas on August 7, 1941.

Patsy moved to Floyd in 1967, where she and her husband, Glen raised a family. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served as secretary. Patsy did many things in life including working as a hairdresser and a clerk at Safeway, but her greatest accomplishment was her family. She had a great love for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glen Stroud, and her parents.

Patsy is survived by her children Brian (Karen) Stroud and Judy (Todd) Rodgers; six grandchildren, Blake (Mindy), Ross, Sam (Emily), Travis, Tate, and Jeremy; three great grandchildren, Tanner, Cameron, and Lily; lifelong friends Larry and Frances Jenkins, as well as many family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Friday June 26, 2020 at Smith – Westbrook Funeral Home, with funeral beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. State of AR COVID-19 directives will be followed; including social distancing and face mask requirements. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
