PFC Jonathan Marshall Cheatham, age 19, of Camden, died Saturday, July 26, 2003 in Iraq. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen F. Cheatham of Pine Bluff; and grandparents, Mr. James Porchia of Camden and Mr. J. M. Cheatham and Mrs. Mary Cheatham of Pine Bluff.
PFC Cheatham is survived by his mother, Dr. Barbara A. Porchia of Camden; sister, Portia Danielle Cheatham of Camden; stepfather, Charles Fields of El Dorado; stepbrothers, Charles Fields, Jr. and Tavin Fields both of El Dorado; grandmothers, Mrs. Eva Porchia and Mrs. Velma Stanley both of Camden; aunts, Mrs. Pearl Cole and Mrs. Deborah Porchia both of Camden; uncles, Mr. Marion Cole and Mr. Fredrick Porchia both of Camden; immediate cousins, James Cole, Eric Cole, Cameron Porchia and Amanda Porchia all of Camden; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Camden Fairview High School Gymnasium with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Jonathan Cheatham Band Scholarship Fund.
