Renee Steward Van Hook, 48, of Camden, died at Ouachita County Medical Center, in Camden on June 10, 2013. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 26, 1965. She was employed at Ouachita County Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oreas and Willie Mae Steward. Her life and legacy of service will live in the hearts of her two lovely children, Deidre Ford and Michael Van Hook, Jr. both of Camden, AR. She leaves three grandchildren, Deshaire Ford and Sydnee McRae both of Camden, AR and Makhiya Van Hook of Minneapolis, MN. She also leaves 4 brothers, Richey Steward, Texarkana, AR, Steven Steward of Camden, Oreas Steward, Jr. and Billy Steward both of San Antonio, TX; 6 sisters, Bettye Jones of Biloxi, Miss., Sharon Calahan, Carlon Watkins, Sandra Porchia, Vickie Porchia of Camden and Beverly Arnold of San Antonio, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Connection International Ministry with Bishop Jacovis Davis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at Proctor Funeral home from 6-8 PM Friday. Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangement.
