James Earl "Jim" Marshall, 84 of Smackover, AR passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. He was born October 21, 1930 to Frank C. and Bessie B. Long Marshall in Monet, AR. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smackover, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank C. and Bessie B. Marshall; wife, Marlene Brewer Marshall; wife, Linda Martin Marshall; son, Bobby Marshall; grandson, Brad Marshall; and infant brother, Frank Marshall, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Gary Marshall and wife, Glenda of Spearsville, LA and Cary Marshall and wife, Debra of Monticello; grandchildren, Lisa Smith and husband, Jeff, Tiffany Hearnsberger, Zach Marshall, Ryan Marshall and wife, Sarah, and Allison Marshall; numerous step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
