Ottis Fenner Nale, 88, of Camden, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church of Camden followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Proctor Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016.

Born in Truxno, Louisiana on October 7, 1927, Fenner was the son of Benjamin Barnett and Versie Olive Beaird Nale. He served in the US Navy at the end of World War II. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana College. He had a long career with International Paper Company, starting in the lab at the Bastrop, Louisiana mill. He worked for IP at the Georgetown, South Carolina mill, and the Springhill, Louisiana mill before finishing his career as Assistant Production Superintendent at the Camden mill.

Fenner was a longtime member of the Civitans, a member of the Camden Master Gardeners, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Camden. He loved spending time with his family and was a fine example to his children and grandchildren of what a husband and father should be.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Olive Nale, wife of 65 years and 1 week Mary Beth Nale, brother Floyd Nale, sisters Beth Parsons and Gay Walker. He is survived by son Rick Nale and wife Linda of Columbia, South Carolina; daughters Patren Spicer and wife Missy of West Monroe, Louisiana, Janet Teuber and late husband Fred of Columbia, South Carolina, and Beverly Nale of Camden, Arkansas; grandsons Bryan Nale and wife Erica of Murfreesburo, Tennessee, David Nale of Knoxville, Tennessee, Erik Teuber of Columbia, South Carolina; granddaughters Chelsea King of Calhoun, Louisiana, Whitney King and husband Chris of West Monroe, Louisiana, Ariel King of Calhoun, Louisiana, Laura Nale of Columbia, South Carolina, Rebecca Teuber of Columbia, South Carolina; great-grandsons Anderson Nale of Murfreesburo, Tennessee, Camden King of West Monroe, Louisiana; great-granddaughter Audrey Nale of Murfreesburo, Tennessee and a sister-in-law, Margaret Chandler of Camden, AR.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Camden or the charity of one's choice.
