CENTERTON - Ronald H. Bradshaw, 74, of Centerton, Ark., passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Tulsa, Okla., to Herman Cecil Bradshaw and Dorothy Faye Dial Bradshaw.

He was an athlete, a coach, a teacher and an assistant superintendent who dedicated 40 years to working in the public schools. But his strongest devotion was to his family (whom he also insisted on coaching, whether they liked it or not.) He loved to play (and cheat at) games, to make bad jokes, and to build things — sometimes over-build; if there is ever a tidal wave in Arkansas, his deck will withstand it. At heart he was always a kid, and that's why all the kids in his life will miss him so. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Rodgers.

Ronald is survived by his brother Wayne; his wife of 48 years, Janet Karen Bradshaw; three children Brent, Karrie, and Tonya and three grandchildren Meredith, Averie, and Winona.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at Southside Church of Christ with Minister Jackie Chesnut officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Memorials may be made in memory of Ronald Bradshaw to Springdale Athletic Foundation, 1612 E. Emma, Springdale, Ark. 72764.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Words of comfort or memories may be shared at stockdalefuneral.com.
