Louisa Letha Heffington-Benton was born on June 10, 1872, in Enola, Arkansas. She married Ellurd Leonard 'Ell' Benton on December 21, 1898. They had eight children in 14 years. She died on September 12, 1932, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 60, and was buried there.
