When Letha E Cunningham (Coffey Heggie) was born on May 31, 1896, in White, Arkansas, her father, Alex, was 19, and her mother, Louiza, was 23. She married Ruben H Coffey (1892–1927) and they had three children together. She then married William Elzie Heggie on March 13, 1934, in White, Arkansas. She died on July 27, 1942, in her hometown at the age of 46.
