Carl Jacob Crawford, 32, of Locust Bayou, died August 4, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born February 20, 1986 in El Dorado, the son of Mark and Sherry Starr and Dewayne Crawford.

He was a 2004 graduate of Hampton High School and worked as a Maintenance Tech at Aerojet.

Jake leaves behind his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 7 years, Marybeth and their two beautiful daughters, Gracey and Mckaylah. Jake is survived by his parents, Mark and Sherry Starr of Locust Bayou and Dewayne Crawford; sister, Jami Lucas and husband, Boone, of Junction City; brothers Blaine Starr and wife, Sarah, of New Edinburg; Justin Starr and husband, Zachary Leach, of Conway. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Sharon Lemons of Locust Bayou; James and Louann Moore of East Camden; and Wynona Steelman of Hampton. Uncle William Lemons and wife, Leighann, of Camden; Aunt Debbie Evans of Maumelle; Aunt Stacey Murphy and husband, Michael, of Bentonville; Uncle Trent Crawford of Hampton. Nephews Triton, Weston, Rylee, Mark; Niece Logan; numerous extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Crawford.

Jake loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed cooking for them at gatherings.

Pallbearers will be Bub Oliver, Todd Hearnsberger, David King, Cliff Johnson, Doug Wilson, and Bodie Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Wayne Harcrow and Jason Sanders.

Visitation will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on Monday, August 6th from 6-8 p.m. in Camden. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Camden on Tuesday, August 7th at 2 p.m., with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery in Bearden.
