Herman Ray Evans, Jr. 60, of Bearden died Thursday September 20, 2012 at his home. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Ray Evans, Sr. and Dolly Evans; brothers, Winfred, Hervey, and Waymond Evans; sisters Elizabeth Howard Nash, Chloe Patterson, Charlotte Bradbury, and Reba Evans.
Mr. Evan's survivors include his sisters, Geneva Anthony of Bearden and Katherine Davidson of Chidester; a very special dear friend, Brenda Strange; and a host of nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com.
