NAPLES, Fla. — Thomas "Tom" Lee Fryer, 56, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Bentonville, Ark., died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Naples, Fla., at a local health-care facility. He was born June 7, 1954, in Harrisburg, Ark., the son of Juanita Matthews and John Wendell Fryer.
He was active with the Boy Scouts of America, where be obtained Eagle Scout as well as God and Country Award. He loved art and outdoor activities. He was a graduate of Bentonville High School and attended University of Central Arkansas at Conway and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Juanita Fryer of Bentonville, Ark.; one son, John Thomas Fryer of Cape Coral, Fla.; two daughters, Crystal Fryer of Cape Coral, Fla., Amber Koniezny and her husband, Peter, of Lynchburg, Fla.; one brother, Steve Fryer and his wife, Janice, of Bentonville, Ark.
There is no visitation planned at this time.
Memorial service will be at First United Methodist Church in Bentonville, Ark., with the Rev. Joe Woods officiating, Monday, July 19, 2010, at 1 p.m.
Private interment will be at Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Ark.
Memorials may be sent to Boy Scouts of America, Suite A, 1507 Wesley Ave., Springdale, AR 72765.
All funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark.
