Melvin Darrell Webster, 77, died Tuesday in Jonesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Webster; daughters, Cathy Couch, Laurie Moore, Mary Beasley, Denise Priddy, Penny Riley and C.J. Green; son, Marion Webster; sisters, Carol Adams, Lorene Whitman and Doris Kissach; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Wayne Bryant and Steve Alexander officiating. Burial followed with military honors in Powhatan Cemetery.

Carolyn A. Webster, 85 of Black Rock, died Tuesday July 3, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born March 21, 1933 in Dupo, IL to Frank Green & Irene Morgan Green. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother and took pride in being a homemaker. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Webster; son, Charles; grandchildren, Gary Joe, Brandy, & Steve; and great grandchildren, Khloie & Nolan.
She is survived by daughters, Cathy Couch, Laurie (Hulen) Moore, Mary Beasley, Denise (Jerry) Priddy, Penny Riley, & CJ Webster; son, Marion Webster; brothers, James Green, & Gary Green; 24 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday July 6, 2018 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM Saturday July 7, 2018 at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Allen Stinnett officiating.
Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
