January 17, 1927 - July 23, 2020
Murl Middleton, age 93 of Sulphur Rock died Thursday, July 23, 2020. He was born January 17, 1927 in El Paso, Arkansas to Henry and Ruby Payne Middleton. He was a retired machinist and U.S. Army World War II Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Aldean Middleton; one son, Troy Middleton; two brothers, Harley Middleton and Morris Middleton and one sister Lorene Blasingame.
Survivors include four sons, Carl Middleton (Opal) of Sulphur Rock, Jerry Middleton (Cindy) of San Angelo Texas, Sheril Middleton of Batesville and Greg Middleton (Suzanne) of Canyon, Texas; one daughter, Nelda Roddy of Sulphur Rock; one sister, Doris Middleton of Beebe; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery with Jeremy Sullivan officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
