Mrs. Charlyne (Char) G. Diaz, age 77, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Diaz was born March 26, 1933, in Gifford, Arkansas and had lived most of her life in Texarkana. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a retired Sales Rep. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse R. Diaz, Jr., and a daughter, Lee Anne Ueckert.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mike Bearden of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Jan Ueckert of Ogden, Arkansas, one step-son, Phillip Diaz of Dallas, Texas, five grandchildren, Ruston Ueckert of Texarkana, Arkansas, Chris Bearden of Atlanta, Texas, Bryan Bearden of White Hall, Arkansas, Brandon Ueckert of Ogden, Arkansas, and Allie Diaz of Dallas, Texas, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Tuesday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Charlie Gill officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens.
